What does H&W Services do?
Dirt supply and civil sitework. We sell and deliver fill dirt, pit sand, base, and topsoil from our own pits, and we self-perform land clearing, house pads, cut and fill, grading and final grade, topsoil and sod, storm drainage, underground utilities, driveways, and asphalt paving.
Does H&W Services do concrete?
No. We do everything from clearing through grading, drainage, utilities, and asphalt, and we hand pads off slab-ready, but we do not pour concrete.
How much is a load of dirt?
It depends on the material and how far we haul it. Call (251) 978-1414 with your address and we'll give you a delivered price per load.
How many yards are in a dump truck load?
A tandem dump truck carries roughly 16 to 18 cubic yards depending on the material.
Will you spread the dirt?
Yes. We can dump and leave it, or bring a dozer or skid steer and spread and grade it.
Do you build house pads for builders?
Yes. We build turnkey house pads, dirt included, for production and custom homebuilders across Baldwin County and price them per pad for repeat work.
Can you take a full sitework package from civil plans?
Yes. Send the civil drawings and we'll bid clearing, earthwork, storm drainage, utilities, and asphalt as one package.
Is H&W Services licensed and insured?
Yes. H&W Services LLC is an Alabama licensed general contractor and carries general liability and workers' comp insurance. Certificates available on request.
